Some primary schools are feeder schools for secondary schools. This means that a secondary school may prioritise your child over another, in the event of over-subscription, if your child has attended their feeder school. The secondary school’s enrolment policy will state that if more applicants are received than there are places, they may favour graduates from one school over another.
When you log into your primaryschools.ie account, you will be able to view the school’s profile information from the School Search section. Registered schools will state whether they are a feeder school and for which secondary school.
