The Junior Entrepreneurship Programme 2016 is now taking registrations for senior primary school students aged 11 and 12. The programme mirrors the academic curriculum and teaches children the skills required to operate a business in the real world, as well as learning their core subjects.
Students use their creativity to come up with ideas for businesses and then they choose one to develop over a 12-14 week period. They work through the whole process of Finance, Marketing, Design & Production, Sales and Storytelling. Students invest a small amount of their own money and in return, will hopefully receive profits from their business.
Local businesses get involved by telling their story to students and passing on the key to their success in business. The students are supported along their journey by their classmates, teachers and parents.
