Payments and Refunds
Schools may use our Services for a period of 30 days on a free trial basis. After 30 days, schools will be charged a €20 registration fee. There is a 14 day cooling-off period after payment during which schools may delete their account and get a full refund. Please email email@example.com to request a refund.
Parents are charged €12.50 per child to apply to an unlimited number of registered schools in any one enrolment year. Sending of an application triggers the payment process. We are obliged to inform you, as per the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013, that the sending of an application involves your waiving of your right to a 14 day cooling-off period under the Consumer Rights Directive 2014, as the transaction cannot be reversed.
There are no subscription fees.
All transactions are processed in Euro.
Schools are responsible for their own data retention policies. Your information will stay stored on our servers until you choose to delete it. Data that is shared between a parent and a school, such as an email thread or an application, will exist on our servers until both parties delete their account. If only one party has deleted their account, then this party will no longer have access to this data.
Parent accounts will also stay active until you choose to delete it. Parent accounts may be used over many years to apply to schools for each child in the family. Access Education Ltd. may, at a time in the future, amend this policy to remove accounts which have been inactive for large periods of time. Account holders will be contacted in the event that this policy changes and we wish to delete your account.
A school or parent may delete their account at any time. They may do so by accessing the Delete Account function under their Settings menu of your secure account.
Access Education Ltd. may delete or suspend an account upon non-payment, or if the user breaches our Terms or uses the Services in a manner that may cause us legal liability, disrupt the Services or disrupt others’ use of the Services. We may take any legal and technical remedies necessary to prevent the violation of these Terms.
Access Education Ltd. reserves the right at any time, at its sole discretion and with 30 days’ notice, to suspend, change, permanently withdraw or cancel any or all of its Services.
If Access Education Ltd. permanently terminates or discontinues all or any part of the Service for which you have paid as a parent, before your child has completed the application process by being offered a place in a school, we will refund you. Notwithstanding this commitment, Access Education Ltd. will have no further liability to you.
